They work to enlighten and empower themselves by working in alignment with universal practices and principles that reflect the secrets to the nature of light.The role of the Kahuna is one of service and contribution. The Kahuna works towards the benefit of all. The Kahuna is the one who rises to the light in order to love it into its very existence; for the earth, others and all of life.The Spirit of the RainbowAloha all, My name is Kawika. I am a Kahu Huna, a teacher of the sacred spiritual teachings of Hawaiian Huna. I am a leader of light and a teacher of extraordinary consciousness. For over a decade I had the rare and unprecedented opportunity of being a friend and student teacher of a well known and much loved Hawaiian spiritual master, Kahuna Uncle George Naope. Many years ago, Uncle George and I made a sacred agreement that to this day has been my express intent and all-consuming passion.Uncle agreed to teach me in the traditional ways, the secrets of Huna that were not in the books. In return, I agreed to commit myself to the service of others, and dedicated my life fully to the teaching of Huna, and its original intent, the teachings of aloha. Uncle's wishes were to share the Huna teachings with the rest of the world through the efforts of his 'Alakai, his student teachers and leaders. He tasked me to create a rainbow bridge between the traditional Hawaiian ideology and the current western mindset. He also tasked me to act as a wave of light, to shine the light of aloha, around the world. And so this is what I have done.Over the last decade, I have taken the traditional Huna teachings and distilled their essences, in order to be able to present them in a logical and cognitive way. My focus has been to simplify the secrets, in order to save students years of study and practice. In short, to demystify magic. Through The Wave of Light! I have translated the ancient Huna concepts to make them make sense to the western thinker. I have further updated them to ensure their practical application in today's fast-paced and ever-changing world. During my last trip to Hawaii, after over a decade of traveling and teaching The Spirit of Aloha! workshop, my training with Uncle George was completed upon receiving entitlement as a Kahu Huna. When I said goodbye, Uncle blessed me and wished me luck. He told me that soon I would have everything I needed to move forward, on what was now, the beginning of my new journey as Kahu Kahililani, The Spirit of the Rainbow. A few weeks after leaving Hawaii, to my amazement and with eternal gratitude, a miracle occurred. I had a profound and continuous spiritual awakening as the Kahililani Rainbow system of Hawaiian Huna rose up from within my Heart, Mind and Soul. As times change, teachings evolve.As a result of my transformation, in addition to teaching The Spirit of Aloha! workshop I have started publishing in order to inspire the teachings out into the world, in a new and more expansive way. It is a positive, open and optimistic mindset that you determine for yourself. It is a readiness to respond and, to recognize opportunity and realize it is potential. Attitude is a willingness to stand in the light of your wave, to say yes! to the positive and the possibilities that are yet to be revealed. It is a language that says, “I can, I want, I wish, I will, I do.”Your wave of light is ready and willing. It combines the other principles of knowledge, creation, intention, attitude and presence, to focus your attention on a specific and detailed result. Makiala means, “attention.” Makiala is the manifesting principle. It is the power of concentration and focus. It takes the light that shines through the other principles and focuses their energy into a single wave. Your Mind is the Mind of Manifestation.Ike is the foundation upon which you base your creations. Kumu is the source from which you create.Mana'o is the intention and the initiative.Kulana is the positive and the possible.Manawa is the time, space and energy that matters.Makiala unifies and aligns these resources and focuses them on achieving your goals in life. no'ono'o Awareness - No'ono'o“ You are the result you are looking for”.In Rainbow Huna, no'ono'o means, “reflection.”Reflection is the ability to be objective, to take time out and reflect upon the big picture of your life. Reflection is the overview from which you can observe the results of your active creations. It teaches you to examine your goals in life. To look at the details that refine and define your life.Reflection is a meditation upon which you can evaluate the manifestations of your actions. It is the evaluation of the bigger picture of your life. To see your life from the point of view of your wave of life. To the exclusion of all else. Take time out to be one with the source of your wave of light. To be centered in your Self. Take the time to be one with the stillness of the wave. Be one with the light that is your silence. Within the wave is your inborn source of rest and rejuvenation.You are the result you are looking for.Reflection reflects. It enlightens you to look in the mirror of your life and see the brilliance that is you. Look at your Self.Within the wave is your inborn source of insight, introspection and the intuitive knowing that is reflective of your magnificence.Reflection empowers you to look in the mirror of your life to see the future in a new, unique and innovative way. As a guideline I will suggest the following.I recommend that you practice one principle each day, for the next 7 days. There are 7 principles, one for each day of the week. This will allow you to repeat them 4 times each, over the next 28 days. Take a day to read this book. Then practice your principles for 28 days and put them into action. And, then take a day to congratulate yourself and enjoy the benefits. This is your 30 day challenge.Practice one principle several times a day. I want to thank the students of aloha for their original request and inspiration, as well as for their commitment and heart-felt support while I was writing this book. Thank you. THE ANGEL The AngelThe angel awoke from within the waking dream of the light of the daytime. She stretched her feathery wings and projected her mind to the next point of thought, then took a deep breath and exhaled herself into a new reality. A new point in time and space through which she could project her magnificence. The predawn of the forest was silent, still and peaceful. The angel stood alone in nature, frozen in a state of wonderment. She willed herself to breathe gently to maintain the position of her projected beauty, for a few seconds longer. Then the dawns awakening light brought her attention to the sun's rays as they began to glimmer through the forest canopy and the angels thoughts began to dance with the possibilities of what was yet to come.Soon a fine rain appeared and prismed into crystalline threads of rainbow sunlight. She focused her thoughts and breathed herself, into the rainbow of the sun. She became One with the misty drops of rainbow light and danced from color to color until the rainbow disappeared and she was no longer. She awoke dreamy from within the golden light of her heart's desire and breathed out once again. Unfocussed in her thoughts, the angel arrived in the dark of an unknown destination of light. She waited to determine her position and yet found she could not, so she breathed herself to become One with the unknown light of the darkness, where she discovered instantly, that she became known by the light, once again.Angels are with you always.And, in all ways.Aloha.
